33 Day Challenge - Animals

For the animals prompt I thought I would have a go at a houndstooth check pattern.  While I need more practice at this on I was quite pleased with how this came out.

I'm not sure what the base colour is called as it is from a Color Club pack called Wild at Heart, I think it is either Love 'Em/Leave 'Em or With Abandon.  The white used for the dog's face is Nina French white.  I painted the details with acrylic paint and covered everything with a coat of Nina Super Dry Top Coat.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

I'm playing catch up at the moment and this is the prompt for 2 weeks ago, which was food. I wanted to do something a little different so I created a design inspired by the secret rainbow cakes.  Those cakes that are covered in plain icing and look quite simple until you cut into them and the sponge inside is a rainbow of colours, sometimes layered and sometimes swirled.  I went with the swirled option.
