31 Day Challenge 2015 - Day 23 - White Base

I decided on a simple bold design for this prompt.

I started with a base of Barry M Matt White.  Once this was dry I added the lines with a fine nail art brush and acrylic paint.  This was my first go with the new set of nail art brushes I bought from Sally's and I was really impressed with them.  I still need a lot of practice but the paint applied much more evenly with these brushes than my old set.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

I'm playing catch up at the moment and this is the prompt for 2 weeks ago, which was food. I wanted to do something a little different so I created a design inspired by the secret rainbow cakes.  Those cakes that are covered in plain icing and look quite simple until you cut into them and the sponge inside is a rainbow of colours, sometimes layered and sometimes swirled.  I went with the swirled option.
