31 Day Challenge 2015 - Day 6 - Half and Half

I've never been good at measuring things exactly so this half and half mani has the two halves merging into each other.

I started with a base of China Glaze White on White.  I then covered the top half of each nail with OPI Miss Piggy's Big Number and the lower half with Ciate Angel Wings to add an extra dimension to the white base.

Next I added dots with a large dotting tool of each colour along the centre of nail onto the opposing colour. For the white dots I applied White on White first then Angel Wings on top.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

I'm playing catch up at the moment and this is the prompt for 2 weeks ago, which was food. I wanted to do something a little different so I created a design inspired by the secret rainbow cakes.  Those cakes that are covered in plain icing and look quite simple until you cut into them and the sponge inside is a rainbow of colours, sometimes layered and sometimes swirled.  I went with the swirled option.
